We accept food donations during our set donation hours:

Wednesdays 9AM-12PM and Fridays 9AM-12PM

Please understand that our staffing is limited and we are receiving high volumes of donations (we need it!), but are also interacting with shoppers, stocking shelves, and answering an insane amount of phone calls and emails. If you have items to donate outside those hours, please visit https://www.hungersolutions.org/find-help/ to find a nearby food shelf that may take your donation. We are all on the same team, it all helps.

Our Mission

Joyce Uptown Food Shelf's mission is to distribute food to those in need, with respect and dignity.

Need food but don’t have an appointment? stop by and pick up an emergency food bag with several days worth of food. No questions asked.
